Banksman reversing/Assistant training

Essential training for safe vehicle manoeuvring on site

According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), an average of seven workers die annually due to accidents involving vehicles or mobile machinery on construction sites. Many of these incidents occur during reversing operations—and most are preventable.

This course is designed to train vehicle banksmen (reversing assistants) to safely guide large vehicle movements and reduce the risk of workplace collisions.

 

Course Overview

  • Duration: 1 hr 45 min classroom session + 1 hr 30 min practical training

  • Group size: 3–5 delegates

  • Certification: Issued upon successful completion, valid for 3 years
