FM Conway

Pertemps Driver Training began supplying Training Services to FM Conway in April 2017 delivering the LGV Safe Driver Development programme to all of their drivers. The course has been designed to give their existing Commercial Drivers additional information in order to ensure road safety is maintained. Drivers are also encouraged to drive in a more eco-friendly and fuel efficient way.

Successful co-ordination and delivery of this programme has enabled us to build a great supplier relationship with FM Conway, which has provided us with the opportunity to deliver further services, such as post collision courses.

Our partnership with FM Conway continues to develop and we are confident we will be able to progress in meeting their requirements and delivering a service that has gained the credit of both Management and Drivers.

Transport logistics manager Steve James says: “At FM Conway, we constantly review our training and road safety protocols to make sure that we’re delivering the best possible support for our drivers and promoting best practice to keep them and the travelling public safe. Classroom teaching is a key part of this approach, but it needs to be backed up by real-world experiences – particularly in a global city like London – which is why the coaching that Pertemps offers is a great addition to the training we provide inhouse.  We’re already seeing positive feedback from the drivers who’ve taken part and we’re now looking at extending the training to drivers based at our depots across the south east”
